You can still take out the implant denture at home to clean it, just like a conventional denture.
  • Semi-removable roundhouse bridges: This version, sometimes called Fix-on-Six®, is a zirconia bridge that cements onto 6 to 10 mini dental implants. It stays in your mouth day to day, but Dr. Stingley can remove it for regular deep cleanings and cement it back in place. The semi-removable bridge looks more realistic than the snap-in denture but is more affordable than the nonremovable roundhouse bridge.
  • Nonremovable roundhouse bridges: This zirconia bridge is permanently fixed to 4 conventional implants or 10 to 12 mini dental implants. It takes extra effort to keep clean, so Dr. Stingley suggests investing in a water flosser.

A native of rural Mississippi, Dr. Stingley was inspired to pursue dentistry at age ten. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master of Science degrees in Biology from Tougaloo College and Jackson State University, followed by her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. She completed a one-year Advanced General Dentistry program in 1993 to expand her clinical expertise in both routine and complex procedures. During her service in the U.S. Army, Dr. Stingley received the Army Commendation Medal from her direct commander, who recognized her as an exemplary dentist. She also earned congressional laudatory recognition from Colonel Gene Withrow, USA DENTAC commanding officer, for a research project in which she competed against 30 dentists from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, ranking fifth overall. The recognition was presented at Fort Benning, Georgia. In addition, she later provided comprehensive dental care for children through the Gwinnett County Health Department. Dr. Stingley is an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Georgia Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She has held leadership roles throughout Gwinnett County, including serving as chairperson of the Board of Trustees for Four Corners Primary Care Centers, Inc., and holding leadership positions with the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and the Peachtree Corners Rotary Club.
