Denture Options We Provide
In this video, Dr. Gloria Stingley explains the different ways dentures can be supported and customized based on your needs and comfort goals.
If you are wearing a conventional denture and have enough bone remaining, you have options for the type of denture you can have in the future. You can use your existing denture temporarily as a stabilized denture, and you can later receive a new snap-on denture supported by the implants that are placed. In addition, you can choose what we call a fixed prosthesis on implants, which requires a bit more work and more frequent visits to maintain proper cleanliness. You can also have what we call a stabilized denture supported by four implants. This option costs less because it does not require six to eight implants. The denture can be more fixed and may be snap-on, or it can be a fixed prosthesis that you do not remove.
