In contrast, a one-piece dental implant is exactly what it sounds like: an implant made as a single unit. Instead of the post and the connector having to screw together, the one-piece implant contains both the post and the connector in its design, eliminating the microgap. One-piece dental implants can come in sizes similar to a standard implant. However, they can also be made much smaller\u2014sometimes even half the diameter.
