She also earned congressional laudatory recognition from Colonel Gene Withrow, USA DENTAC commanding officer, for a research project in which she competed against 30 dentists from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, ranking fifth overall. The recognition was presented at Fort Benning, Georgia. In addition, she later provided comprehensive dental care for children through the Gwinnett County Health Department. Dr. Stingley is an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Georgia Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She has held leadership roles throughout Gwinnett County, including serving as chairperson of the Board of Trustees for Four Corners Primary Care Centers, Inc., and holding leadership positions with the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and the Peachtree Corners Rotary Club.
