Conventional dental implants typically require a longer recovery period than minimally invasive mini dental implants<\/a><\/strong>. So patients can return to their normal routines sooner with mini implants than with conventional dental implants.<\/p>\n

If Dr. Stingley places an implant the same day<\/a><\/strong> as an extraction, the extraction<\/a><\/strong> site will also need time to heal.<\/p>\n

Some patients may feel close to normal within a few weeks. However, feeling better does not mean the bone has fully healed. The implant generally needs several months to osseointegrate<\/a><\/strong>, or bond with the surrounding bone. Osseointegration can take anywhere from four to six months, but everyone is different.
